At Reef Knots, we produce possibly the most sustainable fine-print quality tie available anywhere in the world. We developed the 100% recycled plastic tie over the course of two years and the result was a unique product, perfect for corporate gifting. 100% recycled, but indistinguishable from a fine luxury silk tie.

FAQs

Can you make a custom design for our company?

Yes! We've been designing some of the best ties available anywhere in the world for over a decade and we can make a completely bespoke design for your company or event. This can include a theme or any company branding. 

How long does the process take?

We can generally turn a design around for you in a week. This will incur a small design charge of £200, but this will be credited back to any future order. Once the design has been approved by you, we will produce a sample of fabric in a further two weeks for final sign-off. Once approved, bulk production can take 5-6 weeks. The total process is therefore around 2 months, but we will try to speed up production when we can.

How good is the product?

We believe that our ties are among the best available anywhere in the world. Our 100% recycled plastic fine print tie is a unique product to us and we believe indistinguishable from any other fine silk tie on the market (just more eco-friendly and sustainable). They also have the added benefit of being far easier to clean.

Where is the product made?

All our ties are made in Como, Italy.

How will the product be presented? 

We deliver our products in a Reef Knots tie sleeve, which make them an excellent corporate gift. For larger volumes, these can be customised to company branding, and for a further charge we can produce luxury gift boxes. 

What volume can you produce?

Our minimum order size for a custom product is 100 units and we can produce 10,000+ units if required.

Can you produce me custom wedding ties?

Unfortunately, we can't produce small numbers of custom ties. The design aspect is expensive and timing consuming, while the production set-up costs make the process prohibitive to small volume. We need a minimum of 100 units to make a custom product economically viable. 

What does it cost?

We are able to produce custom recycled plastic ties (or 100% silk versions) at the following costs. This includes a standard Reef Knots cardboard presentation sleeve.
